Youth at the Table
Preparing young people worldwide to speak for themselves in the forums where decisions about them are taken.
The problem
Young people are discussed in international forums far more often than they are heard in them, and the preparation needed to take a seat is not taught anywhere.
What we did
Workshops on how these bodies work, what an intervention is, and how to write one — followed by accompanying delegates to the forums themselves.
What changed
Delegates have spoken from the civil society seat at United Nations panels and attended the ECOSOC Youth Forum.
